I have bought drums, Sounds systems, guitars, drum heads, sticks,  guitar strings and who knows what else at Mississippi Music. 
This is a one stop shop. Even if they didn't have what I needed they ordered it. 
They even opened on a Sunday for our church once when our sound system took a lightning hit and hooked us up with a replacement.
Excellent Service and great people!
Not sure what these negative complaints on here are all about.

This store has been around for decades, but they aren't good for anything other than band instruments and the recommended accessories called for by school districts. The majority of their business is in instrument loan contracts simply because they are willing to go to the schools and set this service up. I was going to stop by the BEST music store in town yesterday after work (Morrison Bro's) and it seems as if they are closed for good. They were always helpful and extremely knowledgeable  no matter whom you spoke with. Unfortunately, I have to go to MS Music today to get an emergency reed for my daughter who is a (known) fourth generation musician. The last time I was at this store it took nearly half an hour for anyone to even acknowledge my existence, even with an employee at the counter directly in front of the door. They would rather play on their phone than help a customer.

Waited 2 weeks for a trade in on a violin. I live an hour away so i called before i went to.pick it up. I was assured that it was there. That same day i drove 1 hr to pick it up only to find out it wasnt even there. Im highly dissapointed in the "ball drop".
