I chose the pork sandwich with arugula blue cheese salad. The salad was small & 40% raw onions. The sandwich was good but dry. My lunch break was late today, 3pm, so I’m grateful to get lunch without stink eye. I’ll try it again, the menu looks great & I love the calories are listed!

Not pleases at all..i ordered the flat iron salad..i asked for all meat well done. I did not like the look or taste of the meat. And i hate when you try to reach someone by phone, just all voice mail. You force me to give a poor review, and now the meal i received, i am stuck with. I wont be ordering again...

Wonderful place! I've eaten here four times so far and every single time I have received SUPERB service from friendly, competent employees. The food is top quality for very reasonable prices and is absolutely delicious and healthful. On top of all that, the food comes out super quick, sometimes in under 5 minutes. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's ideal for a work lunch or a quick breakfast in the morning. Also, they have great wifi. They even have kombucha and local draft beer.

LOVE the breakfast here. A little pricey but understand why. Their eggs are probably the best I've ever had and i am not a huge fan of eggs in general.

Modern Market Eatery finds the balance of fast casual and better for you eating. Located in downtown DC close to The White House and The Washington Post, it's a small shop with indoor and outdoor seating and to-go options. It's set up similar to Panera Bread where you order at the cashier and then pick it up from a window once your buzzer goes off. Then you can enjoy your food at one of the many booths inside. I recommend the pulled pork bahn mi for $10 with a cold nitro brew or if you must a $3 glass of house wine. If you want something more healthy, they have several good salad options!
