The people that work here are the best. SO nice. She overheard me say it was my boyfriends birthday and went all out! Gave us a special birthday waffle and sang happy birthday! Wonderful voices too I might add. They deserve lots of business!!!

Great place to have a quick order and go breakfast. Only down side is the limited seating if you want to order and eat there. Assuming most customers prefer take out and eat elsewhere.

This place's only downfall is that it's very small. The sandwiches are amazing. Majority of the menu is gluten free if you're looking for that when choosing a place to eat. Prices are extremely reasonable as well. Cannot recommend this place enough.

It was my first time visiting. I had not heard of wicked waffles before. I did try to prosciutto sandwich. I did not like it even though I love the meat on subs and as part of an appetizer. They use some kind of evoo that made the waffle soggy. I was being adventurous and I did see other sandwiches that looked more tasty on the menu. I was invited by my daughter. She enjoyed her sandwich choice. I would go back again based on their menu items.

I visited Washington D.C. with my girlfriend this past Summer, and oddly enough, the main desire behind the visit--at least for me--was to find a great chicken and waffle restaurant. Living near Atlanta, there is an abundance of chicken and waffle establishments, however, the availability in terms of walking distance and public transportation can make getting there somewhat of a hassle--unless you're willing to rough it through Atlanta traffic. A nice juxtaposition is the Metro in D.C.--providing excellent accessibility to a conveniently placed chicken and waffle joint; aptly named "Wicked Waffle." Worried that we wouldn't make it in time, we were pleasantly surprised that they were open when we did arrive. Although the setup of the restaurant is somewhat eccentric, the staff and the food were beyond appealing. As the adjective insinuates, the "Wicked" describes "Wicked Waffle's" nontraditional approach to preparing Chicken and Waffles. There were a variety of off-the-wall menu items and my girlfriend and I were impressed by the quality within each of our differentiated choices. My initial thought was that I would need syrup or some other condiment to accent my order--however, as I delved into the dish, I quickly realized that the Chicken had been carefully glazed with a plethora of sweet and savory juices that accented the dish perfectly. With all this said, "Wicked Waffle" will absolutely be on the agenda when we visit D.C. again.
