Really good greasy burger. I was surprised at first how small it was but it turned out to be perfect as is. Rich flavours (dang, that cheese) made it very delicious. The bun was quite oily though but I imagine that's why it all tastes so good. Have napkins at hand. 
Coffee shake was okay but it was the shake burger that blew me away.

I'm not a huge fan of burgers, but Shake Shack burgers are really good! And their fries are pretty bomb too. I love that they have frozen custard, but this location doesn't have as many flavors as I've seen at others. I believe they only have chocolate and vanilla, while others have plenty more. The staff here are very friendly, I've only had good experiences with them. It's not very spacious, but it's kept nice and clean all the times I've been there.

First time in DC and wanted to try a place to eat and came here. The biggest reason I give this place two stars is due to price. I got a single burger, fries, and a small drink for about $15. The wait time was kind of long. *Nothing to bad about five to seven minutes* the food was very tasty. However for $15 it was not worth the price. The friends I went with got two burgers, ice cream, and a drink for $22 and it looked like they had less food than I had. The food here is very yummy indeed. However the amount of food you get for the price is very poor. Great place to come if you have the money to spend and want some tasty food. If you are on a budget or want more food for a better price I would try somewhere else. Will most likely not be back to this place unless prices are dropped a little.

Shake shack's burger has just the perfect amount of meat, fries is crispy outside, chewy inside. A regular burger, fries and soda will cost you over $10 which seems to be expensive for a fast casual burger.
This shake shack is located just about a block from Doupont metro station, has plenty of room and well staffed. Because of the location it's always crowded, but everything goes fast and wait time is reasonable.

There's almost no point to me writing this review since almost everyone knows how good the burgers are at Shake Shack. I will say that my burger was delicious, the fries were so crispy and tasty, and the service was good, if not a bit slow because of the immense crowd on a lovely, warm weekend day in the middle of a bitterly cold winter. All in all, a great experience that I will be repeating.
