My partner and I went camping here and we were blessed to be able to see plenty of wildlife in the vicinity of our campsite. There were elk and deer and plenty of Wildlife that literally were only feet away from where we were standing. We were able to take pictures up close and personal of all of these animals around our campsite. The views were stunning the campground was clean and very well maintained as well the Rangers that were on site were very friendly and happy to talk with campers. We will be returning to this park to do more camping in the very near future. I would highly recommend going to this park.

Loved our site. Weather not good....bear proof dumpster frozen shut. Great location to tour park. We visited in Sept. And great elk viewing.

Tent pads were nice and level. Bear lockers were handily accessible. Mule deer and elk roamed through the campsites quite freely. Pit toilets. October so water was shut off. Neighbors were quiet and friendly.

Camped at site 107 for 2 days (Aug 20-22 2017), and it was wonderful. Mornings are perfect, deep blue sky and lots of wildlife. Afternoons bring occasional showers/storms where we relaxed in our tent and read books. The skies cleared each night and the stars were amazing - only positive that comes with having to pee in the middle of the night. Restrooms and bear boxes were first rate. Campsites are huge. A guy sells firewood from 5:30 to 8 every day which was super convenient. Cant wait to go back.

Camped here several times, and every time you are in a new site, it's a different experience. There are awesome mountain views on one side, and gentle meadow or forest views on other sides. You can also hike directly from the campground to trails leading up to scenic spots. They sell firewood, ice, and ice cream for a few hours per day in the summer. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are not in great shape compared to other national park campgrounds.
