My cousin and I stayed here when we came to the area to go fishing. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Check in and check out were both very quick. The room was very clean. The beds were cozy. The location is very prime. Convenient location right off the freeway. Lots of businesses and restaurants surrounding it.

When I booked the room, I asked for a non-smoking room. We got to the hotel & checked in. When we got to our room you could tell that someone had been smoking in the room. It smelled bad like cigarette smoke. The beds were old & the middle of the bed was sunken in. I think it's time to get new mattress's. When we were getting ready to leave on our last day there, I dropped a lid to a water bottle. I went under one of the beds. So I bent down to get the lid & to my surprise I find a pack of cigarettes under the bed. Guess it was house keeping that was smoking in the room. The front desk girl was the nicest part of the hotel, she was very sweet.

I'll give the pros and cons of this motel. Pros: the manager was very friendly. The check in was done quickly and painless. The room was updated, meaning, it was freshly painted and the floor was tiled instead of carpet. It was easy to easy that the management did their best to make the room look good. It is located in a boulevard, so Starbucks and restaurants are a walking distance. Cons: the shower head was too low, you had to bend your head to wash the hair. The water pressure was low. But the worst was the fact that the hotel is located near a highway and the room I was in was facing the highway and the noise was so umberable that was very hard to sleep. I know there isn't much that can be done about the location of the hotel but if someone that posted on a review I would have read and found another motel.

Had to move rooms for no reason. The original room came with a smaller bed then was originally told. Told the rooms were sold out then miraculously a room appeared available. Originally had a downstairs walk in bathroom, ended up in an upstairs. Had to unpack, pack, then unpack the car... extremely frustrating and was given nothing for inconvenience. I stay at motel 6 way too much to be treated like this. Not happy

The floor was not clean, the bedspread had long thin hair on it. The bedspread was worn out as well as the sheets with very little thread. Cigarette holes in bedding.The beds skirts on both beds were extremely dirty. The sheets looked as if they had not been changed. I brought my own blankets in order to feel safe and comfortable. The base boards were dirty and so was the night stand. I cleaned my room when I entered it. Upon entering my room a pit bull dog with owner was sitting on the steps, I walked past the pool and I could smell dog mess.Staff at the desk was very very friendly and professional. Her name was Luzia. I've been staying on this property since 2012 when I travel from Los Angeles to visit Bay Area and I have referred many customers to this Motel 6 because of cleanliness service and location. This is the first time that I have ever seen this property in this condition. My room had a very bad odor which I have never had this experience before here in Motel 6 Pinole. I hope this survey with assist with improvements
