We typically stop at Motel 6 because we have 2 small dogs and they are always welcome. However, we will NEVER stay at this one again. The room was the most disgusting one I have ever seen at a Motel 6. Our non smoking room reeked of smoke. A big cigarette hole was burned into the night stand. One bedspread had a cigarette hole. The blanket on one bed was visibly dirty. The floor was sticky to the point I wore shoes at all times. I was concerned about the cleanliness of the linens so I slept in my clothes which covered more than my pjs. The laminate floors were peeling and rolling back, the room needed to be painted, the bathtub was so damaged they tried to make it look better with paint, which didn’t work. We paid for two adults and two beds, but only got one towel about the size of a hand towel. I didn’t want to sit on the toilet seat because of the sanitation issues. I could go on, but won’t waste my time. It was in the condition that I would have expected in the slums of New York City or someplace similar. I have never seen conditions this bad.

Just because you offer basic accommodations including a swimming pool at a discounted rate, doesn't mean the facility should be sub-standard. The swimming pool is a green swamp and the tub doesn't drain and the remote doesn't work. You offer a cheaper rate because that's your business model, not because things don't work. The people here are very nice and accommodating, but the motel is full and there is no good reason that these simple issues should not be resolved before a customer discovers them. I'm not disatisfied with my stay here, just a little disappointed. You need to start over again with the pool maintenance.

When we first got in our room The a/c was making a horrible noise and the room was real stuffy. I went to the front desk and let them know. The heavy set women said she'd send maintenance. I left. 20 minutes later I went back and asked them for another room I told her we'd traveled all day and just wanted to rest. She said you can't have another room until maintenance has checked the a/c. I asked her why? She said it was policy. Then she called maintenance while I was there. Maintenance showed up right away and said it'll take him awhile to fix the a/c because it had to be deep cleaned. I then went back to the office and told her. I guess she didn't believe me because she called maintenance and asked him what was wrong. I don't think she ever called him the first time. It wasn't till I was upset she called. Then this other women gave us another room. I asked her where it was. She tried to tell me but the heavy set women interrupted her and said up stairs. She didn't even bother telling us it was on the other side. What a horrible attitude she had and not just with us. If she doesn't like working with the public then she needs to find another job. We will not ever go back to that motel 6. Only because we were exhausted from traveling we did not go to another one. Believe you me,she wanted to turn the light off and hope no one bothered her while she was working. What a shame she is unhappy. It shows in her job performance. I wouldn't want her working for me . Your employees are the reflection of the company.

This is a horrible Motel 6. My friend and I were moving across the country from Las Vegas to Mississippi and stayed at 3 other Motel 6 on our journey. Very satisfied with those, not this one. We checked in with the front desk. Very courteous staff. The hotel conditions are another story. Our room was around back. When we pulled up to park, we both felt unsafe due to the woman coming out of the back of a uhaul that was "parked" there,the busted windows that were covered by boards and the seedy characters that seemed to be residing there. There was no way that I was staying, but I went to check out the room. Gross. Went back to the front desk and got my money back, refunded to my debit card. Again front desk was courteous. Probably not the first time.

The room was very clean, smelled great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I stay here at least 4 or 5 times a year when I come to Bossier to dog events. Love it due to being dog friendly.
