We booked this "suite" for a quick trip to the coast. We chose the most expensive Motel 6 room because of the fireplace, proximity to the aquarium and the jetted (Jacuzzi) tub in the room. We were very disappointed when we arrived and found that the fireplace was out of order. We have stayed in places on the coast before where having a fireplace costs about $70 more than a room w/o one. We requested a discounted price and they were kind enough but could only provide 10% credit. So, we received $12 + change; better than nothing. Blinds didn't work well in the room; neither did the sliding glass door. There are no toiletries provided, not even a blow dryer. We talked with the manager and he apologized. This, it seems, is a rule from the corporate office. Well - this was another learning experience. In the future we will most probably stay in a different motel/hotel.

Nice location, clean room. 2 complaints however. 1) I booked a king bed room with sofa and gas fireplace, according to the photo I clicked on for a king bed. I did NOT receive this booking when I arrived. Was told, when I discovered this, they were not available that day. I was not aware of this until checking in and was very disappointed. 2) There were carpet installers working the first morning of my stay (friday). Very LOUD hammering that continued a few hours. Not a nice way to be awoken on my weekend getaway. I was not offered any compensation for either of these inconveniences. What can you do to remedy this? Thank you, Sincerely, Erika

Found a bag of beer cans, then quickly figured out the room had not been turned down, towels were dirty, sheets had not been changed. The staff made good on this, but then all night was an electrical buzzing from the lights on the building, dogs barking all night even on the no pets floor, I could hear everyone's toilets, showers and TV sets that were close. This is more suited for a weekend of getting loaded then a place to get rest while on the road. I know motel 6 is a budget location, all I expected was clean sheets and some quiet. Now I'm back on the road with no sleep, I would have been better off sleeping in my car at a rest stop.

For the price it was a good place to stay. We had some issues with the plumbing, but the manager was on it quickly and fixed it. The location was great for the activities we were interested in.

Good place to stay. Cheap room and it was a good sized one. When you stay here you will hear everybody who checks out, or goes down the hall, every time. If you want to know everybody's business that is close to your room or in the parking lot these rooms are perfect to hear all the best gossip. Pillows are very thin and bed was just fine. Had a fridge and wet bar sink, and a tv table and stand. Would stay again. Best thing is it is walking distance to Rogue brewing so you can drink some beers and walk back. There is no breakfast, just coffee.
