Spent 2 nights at The Landing, had a great time. The staff is really helpful and always willing to assist with anything. Their front office seemed to be open 24 hours, so if you call down to them someone is always going to answer. The rooms were really clean and it's at a great location.

Great view of the marina and very friendly and helpful staff.  Easy walk to historic Newport.  Covered parkin.  Well equipped kitchen.
But: no air conditioner (yes, it got hot in Oregon in summer on  the coast) so the solution was to open the balcony door and the bedroom window to let the air pull through to cool the unit except that the marina smells of fish (fish cleaning going on there every afternoon) and this will end up in your bedroom.  Also the balcony is not very private, the whole place is cheap construction and you can hear people walking around in their unit and hear their  TVs.  The bedroom is towards the outside walkway and parking area so it can be noisy especially with the window open for cool air.  The place is good for a couple of days but no more.  Certainly would not buy one of those units as a getaway.

The view is amazing! Catching the sunset from the balcony or docks would be a treat. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, the decorations were neat. The TV in the living room area is a nice size, and the additional TV in the bedroom is a nice addition. Over all excellent stay.

The condo was amazing and in excellent condition. We arrived in Newport at around 1:30am and called this hotel after not being able to find a room at another place. Easy process great stay!
