Cool place! Plenty of history and the staff is great! Neat bar on the back patio. The rooms are a little clunky and most rooms have no air conditioning. This is especially challenging in the summer as the ceiling fans do not cool the rooms enough. Overall it's a great place to stay.

When we first got here, they allowed us a two hour early check in time which was awesome! We later figured out they offer a free shuttle service that can take you all over town. Nick was our first driver and he was incredibly helpful and nice but had the rest of the week off unfortunately. Nick and the lady at the front desk were amazing. However, the other driver, John, dropped us off at Wendy’s and then refused to pick us up because the train was getting in and offered more business. This forced us into waiting over 90 minutes extra at Wendy’s. He was a terrible driver and his customer service was very unpleasant. Also, EVERY time you press up or down to use the elevator, it SHOCKS you! The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the hotel is conveniently next to the Hot Springs. Overall, we were able to get the room for really cheap which made it worthwhile but we would not stay here again.

Beautiful, historic hotel, convenient to everything we wanted to do. Terrific Christmas decorations and lights. Hotel restaurant, Barons, had delicious gourmet meals. The walls are a bit thin, but earplugs helped with the sound of people travelling the halls. One star off for housekeeping service. Rooms were clean, but replacement of towels, toilet paper, tissues, and toiletries had to be requested a few times.

Very cozy hotel. Close to the hot pool and downtown. It has different rooms for every wallet. Room service - everyday. I do recommend to stay in this hotel at least for one night. That is the oldest hotel in USA and it has a lot of history inside.

We come here every year for the Christmas decorations. The place goes all out for decorations inside and out. The coffee shop even has real gingerbread on the walls! The rooms are fairly nice, you can tell some small improvements have been made. Great historical place to stay while hitting the hot springs. You also can walk down to the main Street for shops and restaurants.
