Our visit and purchase with Nachbar Auto & George Williams was excellent.If and when we would ever need another vehicle we would go back to them. looking forward to seeing you all again for services as needed. It was a wonderful experience with all of you , including the service department that made the lower front bumper black like the rest of the Tahoe. Thank you all so very much. We love the our new vehicle. Keep up the great service you offer to customers.

Saturday Nov. 25   I live over 200 miles away and was shopping for a mini van.  I found one here that I was sure was perfect for my family and was ready to drive it home, but due to the treatment my husband and I received we walked away and will be shopping for one elsewhere.     Let me start at the very beginning.    We arrived during business hours. My husband and I pulled up on the lot and only a handful of the vehicles were unlocked.  The vans were in front of the office window, so the employees saw us looking at them. No one came out to help us, so my husband had to go in and ask to see the inside of the vehicles.  Chad (employee) came out and I had asked how much a few of the vans were and his response was “I don’t know, all the prices are online”.    After finally getting the one we were interested in backed out and the paperwork copied for us to test drive, I didn’t know how to work the keyless start.  Chad again made some demeaning comments rather than showing me how the system worked.   Upon returning from the test drive, I mentioned that this one was the van I wanted. The door was dinging and again I was belittled because I didn’t know how to make it stop since in every vehicle I’ve ever driven it stops when the key comes out of the ignition. Then as I explained the brake was making a decompression sound, he shook his head and rolled his eyes because that was “so minor.”  I mentioned that we had twins and would need another set of wireless headphones and his response was “well you can get them on ebay for $5” and scoffed at me.  Then, I said I wanted it and to get the ball a rolling for getting my car evaluated for trade in.  Honestly, I was willing to disregard all of his disrespect because I really wanted this van.    I have to say THIS is the ONLY positive experience I had because after the manager drove my car, he was willing to give me full trade in value according to KBB.  Then there were a few times that Chad literally walked back and forth and shaking his head at another sales person (thinking we weren’t paying attention).    Because this was an unexpected purchase, I had not notified my personal bank and Chad made the comment “why would you not know what you owe or let your bank know before vehicle shopping?”. Unfortunately, my bank was closed that day. Chad made little to no attempt to accommodate with their finances. Finally, we were ready to sign paperwork and my husband was out checking the tires and I was checking on some minor things with my father (who has been in sales, home & auto catastrophe insurance, and a body shop mechanic for over 40 years). Chad had the nerve to say “well it doesn’t seem like your husband and you are on the same page!” Just because I was checking on a few things with my dad and Michael was outside.   If you are in sales, it is your job to provide excellent customer service. Chad made me feel like a complete idiot. Buying a car is a huge purchase, and because I was trying to be thorough and make sure everything was in order HE decided that I didn’t have my stuff together and basically acted like we were not worth his time.   I will be buying the same van at a different dealership. If I am not good enough for their effort, they are not good enough to get my money.

I had searched online for the vehicle I had in mind and found absolutely the best deal at Nachbar Automotive. I e-mailed the dealership the morning I wanted to check out my online find, and received immediate responses to both of my e-mails as well as a third follow-up e-mail with the online listing. I’ve found from other recent used auto purchases that since there’s so much information available online and so many options out there for the buyer there’s not a lot of room for negotiating price like there used to be. I did find this to be the case at Nachbar as well, but their asking price was already below Kelley Blue Book value and the vehicle I wanted had low mileage for a 4 year old vehicle. The vehicle was in excellent condition - it looked absolutely like new. When I arrived, it was ready to go for a test drive and even though the dealership was extremely busy with many customers, the wait wasn’t long at all before I was off to drive. Everyone there seemed very friendly and helpful, definitely not pushy. Great car buying experience! I would definitely recommend Nachbar Automotive!

buying my car 3 years ago was an easy process but I was down with Lyme disease at the time and just really didn't have the energy to process the deal I was getting, just wanted to get it over with and get back to bed. They did take advantage of me, but I let them. The car has had constant "engine light/vacuum" problems" and now has two transmission leaks. I've been calling for two days to get help......no response. Big surprise right? I'll be happy to update this if they make it right but so far I'm getting different stories and no help. Look elsewhere would be my advice at this writing
