Jerry at National rental car in Idaho Falls sucks. Don’t show up even a minute late because you know Jerry will charge you for another day. 

Wait, the day rate was $63 and somehow Jerry added on another $100 instead of the $63. Good math Jerry! 

Hertz or Enterprise. Never renting with Alamo or National again. (I know they are owned by enterprise but customer service is better with enterprise.)

BE WARNED THAT VEHICLES RETURNED TO THIS LOCATION WITHOUT DAMAGE MAY RESULT IN CHARGES IN EXCESS OF $2400!!

I am a regular business traveler and maintain the highest rental status with National Car Rental, Executive Elite.  After returning a vehicle to this location, I received an invoice a week later for almost $500 claiming that I damaged the back bumper.  After sending a letter disputing this claim, I received a second invoice for an additional $1900 claiming extensive dings and dents covering the hood, roof, and trunk of the vehicle consistent with hail damage.  Not only am I not responsible for the alleged bumper damage, but there were no storms, hail, or even rain during my rental period which can be proven based on weather history data.  Despite the absurdity of it all, this group continues to pursue their claim and attempts to collect for these false allegations.

I pricelined a rental car as usual for a trip I had to Idaho Falls.  It booked me with "Alamo/National" and when I went to pick up the car they tried to push the insurance on me (as usual) and as usual I declined it (since my CC has rental coverage already).  The guy at the counter told me "its very common for people to chip windshields in this area so you need [whatever coverage package] for that..."  and still I refused.  

I drove this car for 2 days, not many miles, and when I returned it I checked the windshield for chips extra carefully just because of that weird comment when I checked out the vehicle.  I asked the company to inspect the vehicle and insure it was damage free before I left.  They agreed.  Then about a week later I get a damage claim asking me to replace an entire windshield (about $500) for a chip in the windshield.  They sent me pictures of a chipped windshield (right in the middle..  like I wouldn't have seen that!)  that was obviously not on the vehicle I rented.  Furthermore it was a tiny chip that would cost only $25 to fix..  like I'm really that stupid?  

I am refusing to pay it but now I think they are trying to file it against my normal vehicle insurance or charge my CC without my consent.  This is a nightmare!  Stay away from these frauds!
