This place had a funky odor the entire time I stayed there. They even came and steam cleaned the carpets while was out. It helped, but the carpets were so stained, it just made it that much more noticeable that this place is disgusting. There is no place to do any food prep or cook besides using the outdoor grill. The military wants it's personnel to stay fit, but only caters to senior personal by placing them in the rooms with kitchens. This WOD be quasi acceptable for a one week stay, but our entire class was there for five weeks. Push your command to get funding to stay at the Navy Lodge.

Place isn't bad it get the job done. And it's right on the beach. Great prices and clean furnished rooms not a bad place to spent a night or two

I was treated like crap! I called and made reservations, and wrote down the conformation number. So I decided to ensure they were aware of my late arrival just to find out my reservations was changed and the rood I requested wasn't available. To make things even worst non of the bases have rooms available during the time I am visiting. I was also told It was my fault, I was put on hold so long four times that the phone disconnected on its on each time (Questionable). I wasn't offered any help besides the nice opportunity to purchase an additional room at the regular rate since this problem wasn't the Navy Gateway Inns and Suites problem. I asked for a manager, but I was told management has set working hours and I should call them 0730- 1500 or 1600 they weren't sure. It just so happens to be my working hours as well. So I will try to call tomorrow when the staff told me they already called management at home to confirm they wouldn't honor my reservation but given me two rooms or at least one room at a discount rate. Well that's my vented experience with these guys. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST!!!!!

Easy and convenient way to stay on base. It is right next to the beach so the whole family can enjoy it.

Renovated and priced well. Far enough from the flight operations to not hear the planes all night.
