We stayed here for Thanksgiving - it wasn't too crowded, except for the NC State game day. The spaces are large and full hook-ups are nice. I wish they'd take reservations, but we didn't have a problem getting a space. When you call the number listed, leave a message and they'll call you back pretty quickly. Also, the entrance is at gate H-7 off Youth Center Blvd, then drive past the horse stables and up the hill to get to the campground on the left.

Road in is full of potholes. Go slow. Other than that it is pretty good. Pick your site then check in by making phone call and they send someone out to collect. No restrooms or laundry.

Super convenient, and at $30 it's a real bargain. Yes, it's nothing but gravel with some grass, and when it rains, it's a mud pit. No, I didn't see a laundry or even a bathroom (we were off H7 entry by the horse arena). But the Wi-Fi worked well, and did I mention it was only $30? I was told the only full month is the month of the state fair. Would definitely stay again because of the price and convenience. Dirt-gravel drive into camping area is not smooth. It's also either dusty or muddy. The place works, cause it's the only place around.

For camping you call Security 24 Hr. they will meet you or tell you where to go and meet you. Excellent service. Also excellent Laundry  .6 mile Maytag Laundry 15 Jones Franklin Rd..  Also  excellent  hardware and propane  Burke Brothers  .3 mile 5227 Hillsborough St.
