At one time I would have given this location five. I have worn New Balance Shoes since about 1995. I had customer service so poor that I want to speak to the CEO of NewBalance in Boston, MA, yesterday. I had a sales lady who was so inappropriate shoving stuff I don't need at me and had the nerve to practice podiatry medicine without a license when it came to commenting on my custom orthotics. I called her on it and told her I found her behavior offensive. She was smug and said in an insincere voice that she did not mean to offend, but a look into the eye clearly communicated to me that it was all about her and to impress her boss. This was the asst. mgr according to her name tag. I can only imagine how invalidating the mgr. must be. That is sad because at one time I only had praises for the Richmond Heights location. Time has changed. I still think New Balance has a decent product. But is sounds like I need to locate a store that trains its employees and cares about the well being of their customers

My salesperson was friendly and not pushy those are 2 musts for me to buy something from you. He listened to my issues and advised what would be best, while I do agree a shoe should come ready to go not have to buy a separate insert I also agree everyone's feet are different so I ate the cost of the insert and I am not sorry I did my feet are supported and the shoes are very comfortable... I did take the 1/2 star away for location and 1/2 for having to purchase the insole overall very happy Ill be back

Purchased a pair of running shoes from this location this year. The sales person was very friendly, personable and helpful. Never felt rushed to make a decision. Not to mention the shoes have worked perfectly.

Why would I buy a shoe that I have to buy an insert for to fit my foot? Why wouldn't I just go find a shoe that does what I need? Staff and store to focused on upselling, rather than helping customer with what the want.
