I live in Edison which is almost 20 minutes away and have taken my children there since they were 2 years old to Dr. Chen and the other pediatricians for over 18 years. There were other pediatric offices closer to home but we like her. The newest doctor is Dr. Jadhav. She really cares and is very nice to everyone. She takes the time to explain and helps you make an informed decision. The office is accessible during emergencies. Accessibility, professionalism, trust, and good judgement are the hallmarks of this office.

They wouldn't see my sick kids (I have Insurance and was switching doctors because I moved from NY) because I did not have a hard core copy of their immunization records (even though I have their yellow record booklets with updated records and every doctor should be able to access the kids immunization records through the doctor portal. They they told me they need me to go to my previous doctor (in Queens, NY) to get my kids immunization and physical records in order to be seen by the doctor. My kids are sick, how am I supposed to do that? Then they suggested that I call the previous doctor and ask them to fax the medical records to them, so I called the previous doctor's office and was told that I need to sign the medical release form at the new doctor office in order for them to fax the records. The receptionist at the New Brunswick Pediatrics didn't even know what that was and told me to send the previous doctor and email saying I authorize the release of my kids records. Then she told me my sick kids won't even be seen until the next day or until they get their records anyways. I have never experienced this in my life. I switched pediatricians before (due to moving to a new location) and it was never this exhausting. I would be told to come in, they were able to pull the records from the online doctor record system and thats that. I never had to physically go to the previous doctor and get the records. This was the most exhausting and ridiculous place I had to deal with while seeking care for my sick kids.

Found practice after interviewing several in the area back in 2006. Loved the smaller group feel to the office, liked the philosophy, availability of the doctors off hours, and the staff. I have now been with them for 9 years through 4 babies, and i still highly recommend the practice. The smaller group means that each of the doctors gets to know your children over the years, which is critical when an emergency occurs. They can relate experiences from siblings, etc, and when in the hospital my children have seen a familiar face. I have called off hours, middle of the night, and every time receive a friendly, comforting advice or hospital recommendation, with the physician on call meeting me at the door. Dr. Chen is outstanding, as are the rest of the doctors there, and i highly recommend as a primary pediatrician.

Arrived 5 min before apt., but doc still hadn't arrive to work even after additional 30 minutes later. Staff wasn't friendly, never gave me any updates. Place was empty for a reason!
