The New Victorian Inn & Suites is new to Omaha! We are local owners and pride ourselves on passing on our Midwest values to you - meaning the cleanest rooms and the best service at a fair price. Enjoy a free deluxe breakfast bar, free WiFi throughout, 42" flat screen TV's and refrigerators and microwaves in every room. There are kitchenette and jacuzzi suites to meet all of your accommodations needs, and an outdoor pool for seasonal use. Located just off of the I-80/680 interchange, we are surrounded by shopping and restaurants on all sides, and a quick 15 minutes from the Old Market, CenturyLink, or Eppley Airfield.

Ok my stay here didn't start off very well. At first the clerk was not very helpful upon check in, my remote did not work, and neither did my A.C. but when the manager found out, she did everything in her power to make it right! She apologized and sympathized. Then went on to change me to a new and better room h even gave me a free night to top it off! I could not be happier! My room is great and I am very happy with my stay. This hotel wasn't "perfect" when I first got here but I don't expect any hotel to be! Besides those minor issues, it was great to begin with but even better after the manager resolved everything in a genuine caring manner. Sometimes that is all it takes! I will definitely be booking here anytime I come to Omaha in the future! Oh and every other employee I have come in contact with here has been exceptionally nice! Making sure to smile and greet me which makes a world of difference. Also the bed is super comfy and not all mushy like most hotel beds. Rooms are very clean!

I'm assuming these other reviews are referring to the non-pet floors, because our experience on the 2nd floor where dogs are allowed left a lot to be desired. Our first room smelled strongly of cigarettes, but we were offered a new room right away. As a habit, I check all beds in all hotel rooms for bed bugs and unfortunately there were bed bugs in our second room, but again we were offered a new room. The third room light was no functional, so a fourth room was offered quickly and courteously and no bed bugs but unfortunately the toilet seat had not been properly cleaned... Think a bad public restroom that someone chose not to sit down to use the facilities... :( Thank goodness I happened to have some cleaning solution with me so we could use it. We were seriously disappointed with our experience considering the previous reviews. The only upstanding quality about the place is the staff, which were all fantastic. But going through 4 rooms to find one remotely acceptable is a little ridiculous.

Overall a good stay, but it took a long time to get checked in because there was someone ahead of us. I think it's a little odd that it took 15 or 20 minutes to check in anyone. My guess is that there was some issue because they were foreign and IDs are different and whatnot. Otherwise, the room was a little run down, but not bad. Their ice machine wasn't working either, but the important thing is that the beds were nice and the water was hot when I needed it!

The rooms where very clean. Very comfortable beds. Loved that they had a refrigerator and microwave. The morning breakfast could have a nice selection.

We stay here a lot when in Omaha. Nice room with fridge and microwave. Don't know about the cigarette smell mentioned in other reviews. I'm a non smoker and haven't noticed any over the last year. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good for the room prices. My first choice to stay in Omaha.
