From the team behind One Off Hospitality Group, Executive Chef Paul Kahan and restaurateurs Donnie Madia, Terry Alexander and Kimberly Galban present Nico Osteria. An Italian-inspired seafood restaurant, Nico Osteria brings rustic simplicity to the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast.

5 stars for the dining room. 3.5 stars for the lounge. Brett our server was amazing. He was attentive, informative and friendly. It was my boyfriends birthday and Brett took great care of us. On top of that the food was phenomenal. Initially, we arrived early and had a drink at the bar. The lounge service was sub par. We weren't greeted upon arrival and questioned if we were going to be served for quite some time. Overall a great dining experience and I would highly recommend!

I cannot believe they are still an operating establishment! While food was OK at best, the service was horrible! Server was obviously disengaged from her surroundings. Brigitte needs an attitude adjustment along with some additional training and a basic class on genuine and authentic hospitality! Out of the thousands of restaurants in Chicago, we chose to celebrate a birthday there and we didn't even receive a "happy birthday" from anyone, when it was notated on the reservation. Lack of attention will be the demise of this pathetic attempt of a restaurant.

Lovely place with a real dedication to Italian ingredients. Bread was amazing and the menu limited but very interesting. Place has an elegant but relaxed modern vibe. Quite pricey though. Downside was despite booking being given spots at the bar on high stools which when we switched landed us at the worst table practically on its own and cold in the entrance hall where we couldn't enjoy ambience.

Only stopped in for a few drinks and an appetizer. The ambiance here is amazing! We each ordered a craft beer and they were both delicious. They only offer 3 on tap. Can't remember the names, but odds are you'll have it, if you order each of the 3. The appetizer was the mussels. They were perfectly cooked and very good and plentiful. Definitely going to come out for dinner in the very near future. Staff very friendly and quick on their feet.

Everything was delicious. The meatballs were phenomenal. I suggest sitting in the chef's seats to watch the cooking go down. It was great to see everything right in front of you!
