Three words to describe my experience at Northbrook Toyota tonight would be “waste of time.” Unfortunately, I will have to use a lot more than three words to fully describe how disappointing my visit at Northbrook Toyota was, but hopefully my story will help you save 1.5 hours of your life and not have it wasted in Northbrook Toyota. I saw a used Toyota Corolla listed on Northbrook Toyota’s website at $13,676 (see attached screenshot), and I thought it looked like a good deal. I went in to test drive the car after work and everything seemed good with the car minus some minor damage to the exterior, which was no big deal. As we got back to the salesperson’s desk, I wanted to find out what their best offer was. Unfortunately, the salespeople at Northbrook Toyota do not have the power to negotiate prices, only the manager does, so all your salesperson can do for you is deliver the manager’s horrible offer, much like how a process server delivers subpoenas. You might be asking yourself how bad could that offer be, it is already priced to sell so something is better than nothing, right? Well unfortunately at Northbrook Toyota, the manager Kalina Stoyanov (see second attached picture, courtesy of Northbrook Toyota) decided her best offer was $15,995 which is about a 15% markup on the online listed price. So after you spend a good hour and a half there, they decide that they will charge you more than the listed price that brought you in there in the first place. Do not make the same mistake I did and take your business to one of the many other dealerships within a 10 miles radius. Don’t be lured by the fake 5 star reviews on here either, they read like a Russian fake news article and are definitely paid for.

This place is amazing! Larry Breitman is the best car sales person I have ever met during . The show room looks a bit tight . But it doesn't prevent you getting the best experience. Larry helped me to find out what I really need instead of pushing me to buy a car.I am happy for my experience before sales , during sales and after sales!

I've previously bought cars here and have never had a problem with the sales end of things. Hence 2 stars vs 1 star. That said, the service department here is the worst. My car, though bought used, is still under the 3 year, 30,000 mi warranty. It developed a problem at random and the dealership I bought it at said to take it to Toyota as it's still covered under them and they would send it there anyway. I got a quote a two Toyota dealerships. Northbrook Toyota was rude in their attitude, insisted I did something to cause the problem (when I have never had a collision or incident) and quoted me $220 just to diagnose the car, which the other dealer did for free. Neither Toyota will cover the repairs under warranty but I will definitely not be paying to have them done here. It's obvious I will be getting my repairs done at the other dealership as well as any service or purchases in the future. The way they treated me, in front of my children no less, was not acceptable. Save yourself the hassle and go to a different Toyota dealership.

This place is great!! Super friendly and helpful staff. They took very good care of me. Chad and mike were my salesmen and they were awesome! Highly recommend buying a car from here.

Northbrook Toyota is the best. My husband and I purchased an awesome RAV4 from them and could never be happier with the vehicle and our experience there! The team is super knowledgable, attentive, patient, and friendly. I would absolutely recommend anyone to Northbrook Toyota.
