We unfortunately chose Northeast Factory Direct to order our cabinets for our kitchen remodel. They came highly recommended, and I have no idea why! I set up an appointment for a consultation and was scheduled with Nicole. The initial appointment was fine with no issue and everything seemed that it would run smoothly. We were reassured that we would be able to order our cabinets and have them delivered within our tight timeframe. We came back a second time to make a few changes to our selection and to pay the deposit and schedule a measurement. Nicole said that they would be able to do our measurement within a few days. After not receiving a call to even schedule the measurement for roughly a week, I emailed Nicole to inquire about the delay and received NO response. We received a phone call a few days later and were scheduled for another week out. Iris came to do our measurement and was pleasant. We explained to her where we needed our cabinetry to end and she claimed to have clearly notated that. Iris said that she would send our measurements to Nicole that day and we would be able to set up our final appointment promptly. Another week passed and we received no phone call so I emailed Nicole. AGAIN, no response for days. I called to try to schedule with her and was told that she was not in, but I would tentatively be put on her schedule for the following day. We came in for our final appointment, and Nicole never mentioned my email, but did casually say how she had misplaced our measurements on her desk. Nicole said that she would be emailing me our updated layout with measurements immediately. Of course, I never received any email! The following day I emailed requesting the measurements and YET AGAIN received no response. Three days later I emailed again and she said that she’d have to pass me off to another colleague. I received no correspondence from any other employee, so I had to call and request that someone help me immediately because I needed the measurements for my granite order. I received an email from Iris with an updated picture, yet no measurements. I emailed her some days later to ask if she was able to track the shipment of our cabinets and she told me that she didn’t know. Well, we received our cabinets today, and due to the overwhelming incompetence of Nicole and Iris, our cabinetry extends 19” past where we requested it to end. We specified on numerous occasions where we needed the cabinets to extend to, but apparently Nicole will receive more commission if she added in some extra cabinets and ruined our plan for our new home. We intended to furnish our house in the furniture department, however I refuse to do business with anyone who permits such poor customer service and major errors to happen. I would have loved to speak to somebody today when I called to rectify the situation, however no one was available and I will just receive a call back “whenever” they are in. I won’t hold my breath!

Several workers were ready to help us within minutes of us being there, despite how busy they were. We found several sectionals that we loved and we had a tough time deciding which one to choose. Purchasing was very quick and easy. We’re excited for our new couch to arrive! Thanks to Owen for all of his help.

Very impressed with everything about Northeast Factory Direct. In the past, I bought hot tubs from them, and had no issues with the set-up or delivery. This last purchase included a bedroom dresser that was damaged significantly on the left front side. The operators, delivery personnel, and company made everything right and now I know I can trust them if there are any issues with my purchases. No run around, talked to a customer representative every time without any delay. I can't believe not only do you get great furniture at a great price, but also get unbelievable service should anything be delivered not as expected. Also, the delivery teams that were sent out are the best I have ever dealt with.

I had the misfortune to visit other furniture shops, near and far. Almost all the those stores seem to have hired sharks or money hounds. No sooner then my foot past the threshold of the door, a extremely happy sales person would start banging on, with " we have a great deal for you" or "I could see this in your house" etc.... Northeast factory was, on the other hand,a great experience. I travelled just 10 minutes from my place, to be able to look first, Sit in a few recliners, and then approached by a sales person. Who ask a simple question, " what can I do for you?" I have two new recliners on their way, and I have no regrets. Cheers

UPDATE: After more issues with service, I will never shop here again nor will I refer anyone here. My issues are the cabinet department and their lack of knowledge of the products they sell. All I needed was end panels to make the ends of cabinets flush. This would make the molding easier to install and give a professional look. They came me the run around and told me to install light rail upside down under cabinet which would look tacky. I went another route without their help and created a quality finished product. I wish I could post pics to show you the differences. Computer programs are good but some knowledge about what your selling is important too. Good Quality Cabinets...The customer service not so much. I'm very happy with my cabinets. Everything needed to complete the install including handles were included in the price. Outstanding quality. When dealing with the replacement department (one drawer front had a crack) Alicia was courteous and very helpful. Recieved the replacement in no time. My designer Iris did her job to design my kitchen. She did not trust my measurements and used general ones for one wall which caused the kitchen design to be off. I called her and told her she had the wrong measurements so the design would be inaccurate. She just said it didn't matter because she is going to measure anyway. She came out and measured, that way if there were any problems it would fall on her. I was disappointed after she measured. I preferred the first design but she didn't use my accurate measurements. With the right measurements the kitchen required more cabinets that were smaller. Less space and cost more money. I felt Iris was rude and not good about returning phone calls. She lacks in the customer service department. I recommend buying cabinets here. Just ask for a different salesperson.
