Have gone here my entire life, most of my family has been given care here, and every time the care is remarkable. The Cargivers, nurses, and doctors are friendly and definitely try their best to help each patient. Tried to make us very comfortable by asking if we needed anything. Answered all our questions about the care and problems occurring. I myself even get my post chemo pet scans here and the radiology staff is amazing! Super kind and caring.

We were scheduled at 8am for a MRI with radiology, were told to arrive at 7 am, even though they didn’t take us back till 8 this was for my special needs child with severe autism. They had no clue how to handle him. Wanted to put IVs in and monitors on before he was sedated. Then waited to he was awake and panicking before they brought us back to recovery when I specifically explained we needed to be back before he woke up so he didn’t panic. Then as they are rushing out he throws up and is gasping for air the discharge lady just looks at me as I’m responding to him she eventually went and got a towel, but in a hospital a parent shouldn’t be the one, clearing his throat and making sure he’s breathing right before we leave. I will not be using them for any more procedures.

**If the doctors a violate your rights or cause issues report them to the North Carolina Medical Board and make sure you have them investigated!**

***Update*** I reported the hospital to governing bodies, when we finally got out medical records back, they gave our daughter one diagnosis, when contacted by the Attorney General, they told them that she had another.  I am fearful that they changed her diagnosis with other governing bodies, which is not only unethical, but is misleading.  

There is no reason a hospital should be abusing it's position and relationship to people like this! 

This is the worst hospital that I have ever been to.  On 10/31, without knowledge nor consent, my family was sent here.  My daughter had nothing wrong with her and though we asked to leave they would not let us leave.  Though my husband and I voiced our concerns and that we would like to be able to leave, we were given no advocate to discuss our concerns, we were offered no diplomatic options.  The staff was rude to me because I am black, and I am a First time mother.  I was yelled at and the environment was hostile, I was only made to feel anxious and frightened.  My husband was fearful and did not know what was going to happen to me or our daughter.  As a woman of color that worked very hard to organize and advocate for women's health and support, I advise every woman, every woman of color, and every family, do not bring your child here.  Go to another hospital, they have no regard for how their actions effect the people they abuse.

Was transferred here after suffering a heart attack. Very professional staff took care of me for 16 days as I recovered from an infection and subsequent triple bypass surgery. Nurses are very sweet, doctors are highly professional. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food is excellent, too! Would recommend to all in need of care...

If it had a zero star, I would have chosen that! My husband has been stuck there since Nov. 23rd for a massive stroke that almost killed him. He has received very minimal of care, if that!!  no physical therapy, no baths, i was told they were feeding him, but in truth he was chewing the lid off the pudding and licking the container clean. He lived on pudding for a month!!!  He has lost over 30 pounds and all because of insurance issues. Had I known they were so awful, he never would have been sent there. I would not trust them to care for my dog!!
