- if you want to ski and you are in South East, you have limited options - so here ya go! - lift tickets are pricey, but not excessively so. Other stuff like food and trinkets are not overly expensive, although the food wasn't great. It is fine for cafeteria food. - runs are decent, although they are short on beginner runs. Would love something that used a tow rope instead of waiting for lifts. - getting up the mountain (when they are busy) is a GIANT pain! Parking is limited and there is no drop off location, so loop around and take the tram. Staff does a decent job ferrying people around. - tram is very cool and scenic, but takes a bit of planning and bites in to your day a bit - they have ice skating and tubing! I guess that is good, but not sure why you have to go up a mountain to do that. We were just there for skiing. - laid back, fairly easy to get on the lifts. The operators don't all speak English very well for some reason. - there are some maps, but very poor, and for the life of me I could not figure out how the lifts worked without asking. I don't recall maps inside either... the whole thing could use better signage. - watch out on the runs. There are lots of people who don't know what they are doing and will run you over. A lot or what is good and bad is actually dictated by geography. Ober is above a small mountain town about as far south as you can ski in the SE US. So it is going to be packed with everyone from Atlanta and Florida who want to ski. And because space is at a premium, the layout in my mind is horrible. Parking is scarce and if you don't want the tram experience, it is a pain to get up there.

Great amusement park. We had very fun maybe will come back!!! We liked to ride the Alpine Slide the best then we rode way to the top and looked out over! We liked the mini golf too it was very fun. We want to come back sometime or the other. We liked the tram ride to the park and the way down. Would definitely recommend!!!!!! 😆😁😄😃😀😀😃😄😁😆🙂

Still in love with this place after so many visits. So brought family too and we all were so excited and happy! It's fun, different, exciting. My cousin did snow tubing and had a blast. The ski lopes are awesome. And the best par is the tram to go up. Must go!

Vacation destination, it maybe called a tourist trap but this place has a lot going for it. A lot of things to do and a lot of fun to have. Skiing, restaurants etc. An amazing vacation would start here. Summer or winter. I will be back for a vacation here.

The snow tubing is absolutely atrocious. We went today (2/20) and left before our 90 minute session was over. Poorly organized and teens running the place who didn’t care about guests enjoying the experience. Yelling at kids and sloppy tube lanes make this a must-miss attraction. Sad because we’ve been coming to Ober Gatlinburg for years but the snow tubing was horrific. The motorized ramps aren’t big enough to pull the big or double tubes up to the top. Lines are poorly formed and the snow lanes are not well kept. Our young kids (6 and 4) got bored of this and were ready to leave after two trips down. Wish we could get our $100 back.
