I was triple charged for my parking on my debit card and haven't been able to reach anyone to correct the issue.

Parking is free if you make a purchase in the Ocean Walk area. We purchased two movie tickets thinking that was sufficient for free parking. When we were leaving the parking garage, we showed our movie tickets to the cashier and she said no and that we had to get the actual ticket validated. Okay. So we asked to turn around so we can go get the ticket validated, the cashier stated no and that we can't leave. I was trying to reason with her, it made no sense why we couldn't turn around and get it validated, but again she kept saying we couldn't leave. So my husband was getting frustrated because it was really late. So he gave her his credit card so that we can just pay and leave. She said their credit card system was down, and they were only taking cash. By this time there are like 5 cars behind us. Again, I asked if we could turn around and get the ticket validated she again, told me no. So another lady came and they started backing up the cars and I asked what was going on, and the cashier told us they were backing up the cars so that we can go to the side and wait for the system to come up. um...wtf! Its almost midnight! So I rummage through my purse and find cash, to give her so we could leave. The parking garage would have been nice, but it sucks they have 18 y/o running it naive to their own policies and the laws of false imprisonment. They get two stars for the simple fact that they do offer validated parking (up to 4 hours). You just have to know to get your ticket validated and carry cash because their card system might randomly go down.
