Most opinions on here are by short termers, on the other hand I have been here two years and feel I offer a long termer opinion. The previous owner treated it as her golden goose, not really reinvesting back into the park. Because of her penny pinching ways, things around the park had fallen into disrepair; plants were overgrown, the office, laundry room and even the bathrooms were filthy. Customer service was even difficult, something as simple as getting your meter read to pay the electric was a challenge. The park has undergone a renaissance since the new owners have taken over, and they instilled a super professional management company. One of the first things the company did was tear out the dark poorly lit office (Frankly it had a weird smell). They installed track lighting; a new desk, new tile, repainted and made it personal but professional. They even added a large TV screen that shows the pier in Downtown Oceanside, so you can check out the beach while even in the office! The new layout of the office is outstanding; more open, airy and brightly lit (Less like Aunt Edna's Basement after a flood). They even added beautiful street signs, naming each of the streets. Of course they are all ocean themed, but that's the beauty of it and one more nice detail as you walk around the park. In the back corner of the park, is a large fenced in area that had a lot of debris; old abandoned travel trailers, park benches, shopping carts, etc. All of that eye sore has since been cleared out, and they are currently putting in a solar farm, which is a plus for short & long term residents, and a positive for the environment as well! Lastly, once a month, they hold an event in the clubhouse to bring everyone together, A Wine & Cheese event, which is a great way to meet not only management but other travelers or residents. I know what you are thinking, but it's a no expense spared event, the wine isn't boxed but rather bottles they acquire from a specialty wine supplier. The various wines I have sampled have been rather divine and the different cheeses are beyond delectable (no Kraft singles here!) If you are lucky enough to be here when this event is going on, I highly recommend you attend. I had the privilege to meet the general manager from the management company, a nice gentleman named Jeff. When Star Management took over the park, and before Jennifer joined the team, Jeff was the outgoing, positive attitude that started to the pull the park together. He really had to spend a lot of time bringing the park up his high standards. Jeff is extremely professional, very articulate and instantaneously handles problems put before him. I personally enjoyed my conversations with him, hearing about his Machu Picchu trip was wonderful. Jeff is surrounding himself with others who share his traits and is building himself a strong, capable team. Master grounds keeper Luis has tirelessly transformed all the over growth by thinning and trimming all the foliage, as well as removing and replacing old dead growth. Transforming the park back to a stately glory. Luis is definitely a hard worker, even stopping to pick up the tiniest piece of trash blowing around. No detail is too small to escape his keen eye. Jennifer, the park manager, is just incredible!! She's warm, friendly & completely on top of things! This lady can really hold things together, I've personally witnessed her in a "if it can go wrong, it will" environment and she had the strength, professionalism and courage to handle it flawlessly, while not appearing overwhelmed or stressed. She truly is remarkable. I believe (or maybe it's more a hope!) one day corporate will recognize her talent and pull her up the ladder. (A sad day for the park though!) I am beyond excited to return in September (Already have my reservation!), and can hardly wait to see what further improvements have been made. (These opinions are mine and mine alone. My wife and I have been living here for the past year and half or so and have found it to be one of the best places we have ever had the pleasure of staying. Great pool, hot tub and situated right across the street from the beach a buccaneer cafe! Great staff and neighbors

We are from New Hampshire and the winter here was wonderful and the office people are very professional. The maintenance crew are wonderful people who work hard at keeping the place very clean. Everyone including the campers are very friendly here. Our stay here was absolutely lovely and both my husband and I are in our 70s and have enjoyed our stay. Thank you Oceanside RV Park for all that you do to keep people coming back.

I had an awsome time with my family here. It's well kept, has a pool, awsome neighbors, and is walking distance from the beach. I highly suggest this place if you want to stay near the beach away from a hotel and in your RV.
