This is a true bed and breakfast. The breakfast is super good. It is in an open sun room, where people like to chat with each other. I've stayed here 3 times and loved the charm. The service is really good and hospitable. The location is really good. 10 minute walk to the aquarium. 15 minute walk to downtown Pacific Grove. I will probably stay there again.

Staying here was absolutely perfect! The room was so cozy, the garden was perfect for eating breakfast or relaxing. Speaking of breakfast, it was always delicious, with lots of options. The tea and coffee and afternoon snack selection is wonderful. I really can't say enough great things about this spot. It's so close to the ocean and there's a walking path that takes you straight to cannery row. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Lovely house with a great little garden.  The inn is a short walk from the aquarium and restaurants.  We'll definitely be coming back.

Staying here was the most amazing hotel/B&B experience that I've ever had. Every single aspect of this B&B was perfect, magical and exceeded every single expectation that I had. The rooms were perfectly furnished and decorated, the views are something that I could just sit and watch for days.
My two favorite memories at St Angela:

Having breakfast each morning sitting in the garden. Every table in the garden is beautiful in it's own way and completely surrounded by lush growing plants and flowers. Humming birds love to say hello. I regret not being able to remember her name but the innkeeper that we talked to the most and made us breakfast every morning was incredibly sweet and one of the best examples of excellent customer service that I've ever come across. And yes the breakfast's were delicious and on par with any high end restaurant. Sometime that I'm still curious about is how they are able to cook as well as they do yet keep that kitchen spotless and clean.

Next to the kitchen is a large living room. There's something about it that makes you feel at home right away. Several nights we simply sat in front of the fireplace with hot tea and enjoyed the evening before heading upstairs to bed.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Monterey, this is it.

I stayed in the Newport room. It was just what I needed, a very relaxing environment with a soothing stream in the garden you can hear when the window is cracked open. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was super accommodating.
