I had an appointment to be seen for an ingrown hair that had become infected. It hurt so bad that I had to keep my arm up and not let it touch any part of my body. We were 10 minutes late to the appointment and were told they wouldn't take me. Mind you we have a 6 week old baby and drove from Hatteras. When talking to the receptionist on the phone, we were told it would take 20 minutes so we left 30 minutes prior. I called them on the road and told them we were running behind even though we left with ample time. Well, it took 40 minutes to get there. Not one person was in the waiting room when we got there. We asked about a grace period and they said it was 10 minutes. We were 10 minutes late and still didn't take us. I then asked if the doctor has another appointment soon and she said they could not disclose that information, which most likely means the doctor was eating lunch. When we finally left, 20 minutes later after speaking with them, still not one person came in. We will not be going to that location ever again.

Not impressed, my wife went in for what appeared to be Bronchitis, they sent her home with no scripts what so ever.  They just said rest.  Well that does not cut, she was in bed all last week as we were trying to get ready to open the house for renters.  She got me sick as well.  Terrible week, finally got back to ATL,  went to a real doctor had it knocked out in a minute it was Bronchitis for us both got my meds last Sat night she on Sunday.    The people were friendly enough at outer banks med they had no appointments open so she had to wait, they got her in a short time but geez had she  been given the meds on Tues  she would not have been laid up all week. This is an issue for us as we look to maybe live part year in Avon. Competent and available medical care will be critical for us.

Mother in law broke her toe on vacation. This place told her she could not been seen because they were to busy. She drove to the hospital, and has been there for 4 hours waiting to be seen. Why could you not squeeze her in? Surely your wait is not longer than 4 hours?
