Going into for a visit is good in certain clinics and not so great in others. It seems that the clinic coordinators in certain clinics have attitudes over the phone and in person. It is unfortunate that patients have to be treated as a number and talked down at at times. They make it hard to speak directly with a nurse when someone has a question or needs some form of assistance from a nurse. I understand they are busy but properly explaining things without an attitude well work fine. That's why I hardly make appointments and go to other locations where I receive much better service and care as well. I can say there are some great people whom work here but there are some who are very rude and inconsiderate  especially over the phone.

Best Care With The Exception Of 1 Orthopedic Doctor Who suggested I come back in five weeks. I Was Very Disappointed Because I’m A Disabled Grandmother With A Badly Swollen Knee & I Can Barely Raise My Right Arm. I Was Only Given The Advice To Return In 5 Weeks With My Medical Records (From A HospitalI Haven’t Attended In Several Years?!) I’ve Been A Patient Here At UIC For Almost A Year & My Primary Care & Sleep Study & ENT Doctors Are AWESOME. I Don’t Know Why The Orthopedic Doctor Can’t Have The Same Integrity & Compassion. I’m Still In Pain After Waiting For An Appointment Just To Be Sent Home With No Instructions Or Pain Management Advice & I Can’t Afford To Keep Taking Cab Back & Forth For Nothing. I’m So Hurt & Disappointed Because I Couldn’t Even Get Help From “Patient Guest Experience” & They Didn’t Return My Phone Calls Yesterday Early Afternoon At All. My Knee Is So Swollen That I Can Barely Walk Now. I Would’ve Never Treated Anyone That Way...EVER!
