I'll start by saying the coffee at Peet's is great and the customer service is usually very good. However, today was the last time I'll go to this Peet's for coffee. It's a bit out of the way, but some mornings I stop by on the way to work right when the shop is scheduled to open at 5:30am. Today was the second time in less than a month the store wasn't open at 5:30. Both times the same young lady saw me standing outside the door and made no effort to come open the door. The first time I waited until 5:40 before I knocked on the door. She finally came to open the door and said the cash register was not working so they weren't going to open. Understandable...but if you see a customer standing in the rain, common courtesy dictates that you make the effort to let them know what's going on. I left Peet's that morning with no coffee. Today, same young lady, same locked door. She clearly saw me standing there when I first pulled on the locked door at 5:32 and continued to load pastries until I walked away at 5:40...again with no coffee. It's unfortunate because I've been in the shop at other times and had great service, but I won't be back to this Peet's.

Peet's  Best Coffee in the area in Alexandria and great staff. Always service with a smile.  Best Cappuccino at the one on Beulah in the Alexandria area. Better and cheaper than SB. Oh for those on Keto diet Peet's has half and half AND heavy cream whipping cream. Most coffee places just have half and half. Make sure to not ask for whip cream LOL as that is different  may have sugar. Peet's does make their own whip cream so possibly you could get without sugar????. I will have to ask. Most other Coffee places use Reddi Whip which is processed from a can.

I like this location a lot. David always puts me in a good mood. I feel like this location has low turnover so the baristas have a good time together.
