Excellent customer service! I had a little emergency this morning with my Jeep, the right front brake locked up on me while I was on the freeway. I drove straight to Pep Boys to have it looked at. Within minutes i was informed what the problem was. They told me how much time and money it was going to be and that the parts  were available to do the job immediately. Before I knew it I had a team of good men and women handling my unexpected mechanical issue and I was on the road and at work well before lunch time. Way to go guys! Thanks for all your hard work!

These guys are open late till 8pm they have the mechanics working so you can get your car seen to quicker than other places and you can apply for a Pep Boys credit card to finance your repairs or purchases.

This is rating is for the auto shop.  Don't ever have work done here, it will be slow and perhaps not done correctly.  Remember: you get what you pay for.

The line's never too long, the associates are customer service efficient & knowledgeable in their field, the parking lot is huge, but not open on every side so your vehicle is safe while you're at the counter & it's well lit at night. Their prices are competitive as well as their warranties. The shop is strategically centrally located in town respective to map locations of Chico, and if your ride has to spend the night you can easily get back home by bicycle/public transportation as there are On-line & County Ride stops on both sides of the street. If your there for only a few hours, there are plenty of places within walking distance (some right across the street) that cater to your fare of choice. I think a major bonus for armchair mechanical enthusiasts, like me (lol) is the local Harley Davidson dealer is only 50 feet south!!!

Would rate 0 if I could. Terrible service. They will give you a long list to try and justify an unreasonable price
