Very friendly and helpful staff.  I couldn't find the special cat food that my parents feed their cat.  One of the cashiers shut down her register and helped me find it.  A coupon on the bag saved $2.  The store aisles are pretty narrow.  The store, like most Petco stores, is pretty small.  Not much handicapped parking in the parking lot. Too many yappy dogs in the store.

Unfortunately my son bought fish from here with the money he received at Christmas. The fish have all died within 2 weeks. He spent $30 for the fish which is a lot of money for a young kid in school. He has always had fish and never had had anything like this ever happen. Unfortunately, he didn't keep his receipt. I would not recommend buying fish from here.

Very nice, helpful staff; but...I was looking for quite a bit of mealworms for my lizards so I decided to go with the 500ct. I opened the container to check and there was quite a bit but still not enough to be 500.i was curious so spent $13 for them. When I get home I dumped them out onto a paper plate and counted them. I was SO dissapointed and couldn't believe it. When I got through counting there was only 255 in the container but they claimed they count them and there was 500 in there. SUCH A RIP OFF!!! I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Will not be purchasing from there again.

Refuses to carry the best food for old cats, i.e. Royal Canin 11+ or 12+.
Refuses to carry the large bag of Royal Canin 7+ cat food. The smaller bag doesn’t last long with three cats in the house and they are all the correct weight. To be fair no pet store in Lakeland does. Next time I will buy four months supply of the proper cat food where I live the other 8 months of the year.
