I like to buy my pet supplies and Pet Food locally at Petco. I also really appreciate that many of them help people and homeless and shelter animals get together. Petco is not a puppy mill or I wouldn't shop there! And of course it's dog friendly so my dog can shop for herself!

This is your average big box pet supply company. The service is friendly, but it's a little smelly like they need to clean more often and better. Also, don't be fooled by the atmosphere that you may be getting the best prices. I shop around, both online and at brick & mortar stores, and I found the prices a little high. I only go there for convenience when I didn't order something online enough in advance. I would rather support local businesses, but only if their prices are competitive.

I use their grooming salon. My rescue dog has long nails and needs them filed regularly, but doesn't like her feet touched. They have done a great job with her. Their prices have increased dramatically though.
