We drove for an hour to come look at puppies, thinking about getting one for my birthday. And we're told they had a one puppy policy where you can only play with one puppy. There's absolutely no signage of that rule in the store. What pet store does that? Terrible experience!

I was upset to go in and see a store selling puppies who lived in tiny cages with wire bottoms - that hurts their feet. Though I did not note any poop in the cages, I saw some other reviews. The kittens had a larger area, but most dogs were in ~3x3 squares. My heart aches for them. They should be rescued and given more kind care. Animals are not products, they are living creatures.

Recently purchased an incredibly overpriced puppy for roughly 2800 dollars.  With 2800 dollars one would imagine that shots, vaccines, and health are all up to par yet 2 days after we took the puppy home, he fell violently ill.  We eventually took him to the animal hospital for treatment and it was determined through stool samples that he had a severe case of the Ghiardia Lamblia parasite.  2 days.  And 2800 dollars.  What an abhorrent situation.  Now he's on antibiotics and antiparasitic drugs and is doing better but this is ridiculous malpractice by Petland.  This is just pure and undiluted absurdity.

PURCHASE A PET HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! My wife just bought a 4 month old Puppy from this place on Saturday. Was promised a complimentary vet visit with the purchase. Took the puppy to the vet today only to learn that the puppy's health was in poor condition, shots weren't up-to-date, and the Vet visit wasn't actually complimentary. My wife then returned to the store to complain and was physically threatened by the manager on duty. This pet company needs to be investigated immediately.
