My son has been taking lessons from Kevin for less that a year now and plays better than I played after 5 years of lessons as a kid.  Kevin is a patient teacher and has used a lot of humor to help my son feel relaxed and have fun.  It has been incredibly rewarding as a parent to watch him want to perform his songs for friends and family members.  The Simply Music method is such a great way for kids (and adults) to build confidence in their ability to play the piano. I would highly recommend Kevin to anyone wanting to learn to play piano.  You won't be disappointed!

My son and I have been taking lessons from Kevin since January 2008.  Not only is Simply Music a fast, easy and innovative method, but Kevin makes every lesson fun.  He's great with kids and adults.  Always wanted to play, but aren't sure you're musical enough?  Go see Kevin.  It's never too late to start because you'll be playing a real song after your first lesson.  You'll not only learn the instrument, but you'll learn about the whole art and science of music itself.  And you'll have fun doing it!  My nine-year-old son can play dozens of songs from memory, he can read music, and he loves to practice.  He regularly plays for family and friends.  It's been great for his self-image, and he talks about wanting to start a band with his friends some day.  We'd recommend Kevin to anyone who wants to play piano and enjoy it.

A friend of my son's played the piano amazingly and after 3 years of piano playing, my son was nowhere near as capable.  This boy was playing everything from memory.  My son and I were chained to music books.  Now my son plays everything from memory and is still reading music.  He plays everything from popular songs, to classical, but we love the blues & jazz the best.  If you are eager to play the piano without having to stare at a book, call Kevin - he will have you playing after the first lesson.  and he didn't even have to pay me to write this.  that's how happy we are with the results!

My children have been students of Kevin's for about 7 years - they all started when they were about 5, and are now 12, 10, and 8.  The fact that we have been students of his for so long obviously says alot in how much we value his teaching.  In that time my children have made great strides in learning to play lots of music, contemporary to classical.  Kevin is a great teacher and makes piano enjoyable for the kids.  We would recommend him to anyone looking to start piano, or even pick up where they left off years ago.

Kevin is a wonderful teacher.  He inspires his students to want to do more and keeps their interest with the classics as well as my daughter's favorites like the Beetles.  My daughter is always coming home playing her many series of songs with a lot of energy and I never have to tell her to practice.  It's been a very positive experience.
