Nice campground on the edge of Snow Summit with great access to the to hiking trails at the mountain. The campground was full and some of the spots are closer together than others but that's typical of most of the National forest campgrounds. The camp hosts were the best we've ever experienced and did a great job of keeping the place in top shape. With the campground full we were expecting it to be quite noisy after 10 p.m. but it was surprisingly quiet, probably due in part to the camp hosts going around and letting everybody know the rules. We stayed at spot 31 which was nice and spacious and a little more secluded from the other sites. Looks like spot 19 would be the best for next time. Overall a great time and even though it's close to everything it still has the feel of being away from it all. Sometimes you just gotta get away!

This campground is pretty nice. It's quite woody, the restrooms are well kept(they smell good), the hosts are nice, and it's really quiet-- especially at night(almost scary quiet). We had a really nice campsite (#11). It's spacious enough to fit our huge tent, a hammock, and even maybe three other tents if needed. It's also really close to the restroom as well which was a huge plus!! And in the drive way area you can fit about two to maybe...three cars. I don't know if that's allowed, but it seems doable. The table and bear box are also pretty close to each other, which is a plus! The grills that come with the sites are also adjustable, and the pits are low(that's a good thing). We gave it four stars because they don't have showers, they only accept cash, and the restrooms-- despite their cleanliness, are quite small( there's only one toilet per bathroom). Overall, we highly recommend this site :) Happy Camping!
