Had a nice time.  No train to keep you awake at night like some other camp spots along the coast.  They are very strict about the 2pm check in time, same as other parks.  Hardly any trees, so I'd bring an umbrella or some sort of cover to stay out of the sun.  Campsite is up on the bluffs above the beach.  The large staircases down to the water have little benches to take a rest on the way back up.  Beautiful views, clean facilities and a nice selection at the camp store.  Site also has laundry room, which I didn't use so I'm not sure if they take quarters or function well.  I'd go back for sure!

Loved camping here. Most spots are pretty wide and have a fire pit as well as a picnic table. The bathrooms are clean and spread out... close to all sites. There is beach access and a camp store for anything you don't have enough of! And the best part... the  view is amazing!!

I can't say enough great things about this place! We had premium and just an excellent time. The grounds are very clean even the public bathrooms/showers were clean. The view is INCREDIBLE. I am a San Diego native and was in awe the entire time. I've visited Hawaii several times and I was in awe. We woke up to dolphins and whales every morning and the sunsets were spectacular.

Pretty view. Loud highway. Rowdy, drunk, stoned neighbors who shouted til 1 in the morning that park staff failed to control/remove after multiple complaints from multiple campers on multiple nights. Disappointed in park staff. Would ask for a refund if I felt like California State Parks cared at all about customer service. Will definitely not be returning.
