Gross room.  New it was trouble when the cheap vinyl shade was ripped.  Terrible beds...the bathroom ok - but wouldn't use the shower.  we stayed there two nights.  such a great location - but that's it  also, overcharged for crappy room  Oh the carpet was yucky and the dresser was dirty.  i wish we would've stayed further away in a name brand hotel..would've been worth the extra 30 miles!

"Rustic appearance from the outside" and "good location" are the only good things I can say. Our room (#8), with 2 queens and a roll away bed, had dirty carpets--including an area carpet nailed to the floor. I wondered what it was covering. The couches and furniture were also dirty and old. The  TV worked!  The bathroom was an afterthought: Shower was very small; Sink was old and stained; vinyl tile was cracking apart. We had to be in Wrightwood for two nights and this was our only option when booking. I wonder how this place passes inspections?  We won't be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here!!  The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating.  The rooms were affordable, clean and comfortable.  The beds were very firm, but that was okay with us.  We had rented two cabins and check out was at 11, but the owner allowed us to leave our stuff well past check out since we were going up the mountain for a few extra hours.  One of our cars had a dead battery and he even loaned us jumper cables.  Both cabins had refrigerators and they have free wi-fi.  I had read reviews, and was only slightly concerned, but now after staying there, I can say I look forward to our next stay.

I had an employee stay here the other night. this employee stays at very low end hotels all over So Cal and this one he disliked so much that he offered to drive 30 miles out of the way and not charge me for mileage to get to the closest Motel 6! This employee NEVER complains of his hotel stays. These people need to do something about their facility quick!

OUCH, Im going to have scares from the BED BUG bites!  This could have been a very good experience if they didn't have bed bugs.
