Shout out to housekeeping!! They came and serviced our room each day. The first day, they made the beds and put my daughter’s stuffed animals all over the pillows. They took our clothes and put them into a pile. I’m thankful because we were in a hurry that morning. Great housekeeping staff! Friendly front desk staff, nice rooms. I’m loving the wood flooring; it feels so much cleaner than carpet.

Very pleased about my stay.. It was a handicap room... So it didn't have or wasn't like the normal rooms, although the shower was (portable) was great the water pressure was weak and temperature was warm not hot.. The bed should have been replaced years ago... It was like sleeping in a hole...

It was an enjoyable stay, as usual. However, I would have given five stars if the water pressure in the shower was more than a trickle! When we called the front desk it was an issue they were well aware of. They did offer us another room, but since we were only staying one night we passed. If this is a known issue for that room, why not repair it? Then I would have given five stars.

The sheets were as clean and untouched as a fresh Siberian snowfall. The mini fridge  kept my beers colder than a butcher’s meat locker at the North Pole. Faux hardwood floors glistened with a shine like the dew during a crisp morning sunrise. The toilet stood so proudly that to sit on it was to sit on some regal ivory throne. The communal hot tub bubbled like some ancient geyser in a mystical land - to submerge yourself in it’s waters was to submerge yourself in some mystical world of rest and relaxation.  This is the kind of place God would stay if he needed to pull off the road for the night and find a place to stay. Do yourself a favor and stay here, but be wary: you will have to confront the urge to quit your job, sell your house and all your belongings and start your new life here at the Oceanside Motel 6.

I booked 2 weeks in advance. When I arrived at about 9.30am, I was told the room I booked (first floor due to my disability issues) was not available and one wouldn't be ready until 3pm. This is unacceptable. I insisted on being booked in asap. I had no choice but to take a room on the third floor. The only concession was that it was close to the elevator. My physical condition was exacerbated due to several trips to my room carrying several items of luggage to the elevator. The same when I checked out. I don't believe this is the normal procedure,  as I've been coming here for past 8 years. I would like this investigated and I be compensated for the inconvenience.
