I have my truck detailed at Pit Stop every Fall. The guys always do a great job. I'm particular when it comes to waxing my truck, I used to do it myself but can't now. Last year I had them do an undercoating on the truck, its held up great so far. I highly recommend!

I had an appointment for Saturday morning. The owner called me a few days ahead of time to confirm that I was going to keep the appointment, and I said yes I will be there. I got there 15 minutes early, and the place was locked and dark. A car pulled up and parked. After 10 minutes past my appointment i walked up to the car to ask them whether they were employees or customers, but they would not roll down the window and ignored me while I stood there. Finally one guy reluctantly rolled down the window and said he was an employee but the boss did not show up to unlock the door. I tried calling the guy with no response. I waited until 20 minutes past my appointment and left. Very poor.

(Update): I was contacted by the owner of the Pit Stop. He was very courteous and apologetic for the job his staff did. He offered to either fix the poor job or refund my wife the money. Since I had already corrected the issues, I accepted the refund. He is an upstanding business man and certainly made up for the situation. 

My wife took her car to Pit Stop Auto Detailing for the Bumper-Bumper service. She picked it up without looking it over very closely, but upon my inspection at home I noticed a clear lack of attention to detail (you would think this would be the primary focus of a detailing business). I found spots on the seats that had been missed. The biggest issue was the outside of the vehicle. The roof of the car had water spots all over it, as well as a few large circular hazy spots that look like a buffer was placed on the car but the wax was not buffed out. I was able to fix these issues with some quick detailer and a microfiber, but I should not have had to do that after my wife just spent 125$ to have it "detailed" I will not return and would encourage anyone else to also look elsewhere for detailing services in Lee's Summit.
