Excellent service! Hotel operates like B&B - free breakfast AM & free wine/cheese/crackers in beautiful lobby nightly. Location Reynolds Square @ Abercorn St. Convenient 2 blocks up from River St. Shops/restaurants. My 3rd visit to Planters Inn & will happily return. Savannah white tours stop daily for on/Off ride all day.😁😉☺

I liked this hotel. Great breakfast in mornings. Great staff !  My view was not great at all of a parking garage. The noise in the morning on Saturday was insanely loud from some kind of construction or cleaning in the parking garage woke my wife and I up at about 6 in the morning and did not stop until we left around 9. That ruined are first morning however on Sunday there was no noise and we slept perfect.

We did arrive to the hotel during a snowstorm, so I have a certain level of understanding concerning a lobby door that wouldnt shut and being short on resources. However, breakfast was unavailable the morning after our stay, which was not announced upon check in. Turn-down service never came. One of the employees threw a bucket of ice out the front door to dispose of it, making it even more hazardous to come in and out of the front door. I chose this hotel because I thought that I would receive exemplary service and I recieved non of those benefits on this stay.
The hotel is otherwise beautiful, conveniently located in an interesting neighborhood, and comfortable. Wish we had come under better circumstances.

I can't begin to explain how wonderful my experience was. Let me start with absolutely fantastic prices! Alos, clean, fresh, beautiful room. They offered a delicious breakfast and also an afternoon cheese and wine period. The staff was very warm and welcoming and I received help with directions from every staff member that had a suggestion to chime.
 But my favorite part is the location!! Practically in the center of the city, and right in front of a gorgeous park! 
I will continue to be loyal to Planters Inn every time I am in Savannah because I know I won't have to worry about being exptremely comfortable when I'm not out enjoying the city.

Nice quaint location in the middle of historic Savannah. Very pleasant and helpful porter and doorman. Decent value. Be sure to put out the “do not disturb” sign if you want to sleep in. Housekeeping will knock on your door after 8 am on the weekend. Plan ahead for parking or pay valet.
