I travel (and move) often... I absolutely love finding Plato's Closet in new places and it's always a first stop, as well as repeat visits as often as possible. I've been a giddy seller and shopper for well over 15 years, I've been to countless locations all over the country. Please hear me when I tell you that this location is a serious let down. Not only the most expensive location I've been to, but also the most outdated inventory. The newer items that I did find were items that were still on clearance racks at Walmart, Target, Dollar General etc... Why would I pay $20 for a dress from the dollar store... THAT'S CURRENTLY ON CLEARANCE FOR $4?!

On a separate visit, my second and last, I took 4 pair of brand new Steve Madden wedges that were too small for me. I was told very rudely that wedge shoes went out of style two years ago and no one wears them, so they don't stock them at all. I then walked through the store and counted 26 pairs of wedge heels. 🤔😏 Terrible staff, and obviously terrible management. I drive to Melbourne, Orlando or Jacksonville now. Don't waste your time or your money on this location...

The thing is, they market themselves as a thrift store, meaning all of the items are used. Yet they still sell for retail price if not more. I found a pair of Hollister jeans, missing a zipper, marked at $30. The same jeans, brand new, are $20. Also, they aren't always willing to even look through your clothes, let alone buy them. I brought in a bag full of semi-new brand name shirts, jeans, jackets. No stains, rips, pilling, etc. They said they couldn't take them as they were too worn, yet I was in the store the entire time and they didn't touch my bag once. I'd have a much better shopping experience going to Goodwill.

I am only giving them one star because I have to give a star. They advertise they buy neame brand gently used items, thats a lie. As she was listing off what they were accepting after telling me they weren't buying any of my items I pulled the exact American eagle Jean shorts with embroidery on it and she said no. I will never give them a penny of my money or let any of my friends fall a victims of theirs.

Very rude I've been there more than once and every time I've went there they never accept anything and everything I bring his name brand top of the line and not very old. There's a bunch of young teenager looking girls working there and very pretty profile everybody very rudely I would not recommend anybody to go to the Plato's Closet I personally think the management needs to do something about it cuz I will never go back and I've heard many other people say the same thing
