Plato's Closet® is all about being fashion savvy and shopping smart. We specialize in gently used clothes and accessories for teen and twenty something girls and guys. All stores are independently owned franchises.

At Plato's Closet® you'll find a huge selection of trendy, designer styles as well as those every day basics you can't live without - all at up to 70% off mall retail prices!

Our stores buy and sell girls sizes 0/1 to 15/16 and guys size 28 to 38 waist. The gently used clothing and accessories that we buy are: top-name brands, cool, hip, trendy, and clean. Typically we buy items that have been in the retail stores within the past 12 to 18 months.

Our process is quick and easy:

1. Go through your overflowing closet
2. Bring in your cool stuff
3. Walk out with new cool stuff or $$$ in your pocket!

I've sold clothes at this location many times and it's been fine, however this last time was a joke. Dropped my items off Friday at 1 pm, went back after work around 6 to pick up the unwanted items and my money. After they paid me for my clothes, they couldn't find my bag of unwanted items. They were very nice and took my name and phone number as well as gave me the store managers name and information. I tried to contact her the next day as the employees said but she wasn't in. Another woman named Amber said she also searched and couldn't find my items, but that she was contacting the store manager, and they'd be in contact with me that day. It's been three more days with no contact or update from anyone. Not happy, won't be returning to shop or sell here. edit: The store manager was able to get in contact with me today and make the situation right. They compensated me fairly for all the clothes lost, and I really appreciate they cared enough to make it right. Still can't give 5 stars though for losing my clothes in the first place.

I took my stuff there yesterday and the items that they were not interested in buying that were suppose to be returned, were given to another customer supposedly. Items included a $300 MCM belt with no wear on it and 2 jackets with a retail value of over $400 as well as other misc clothing items. When I went into the store to pick up my belongings the clerk at the time told me that some lady was given my stuff and would not want it and would bring it back. When a shift manager came over and intercepted the complaint, she walked away saying "she's tripping". I have tried numerous times to contact a manager with no luck. I was told earlier that the manager sets her own hours and would be in some time today. There is obviously no one here that actually knows what they are doing.

A fairly wide range of very cheap clothing. The selection of men's clothing was much smaller than the woman's clothing, and I couldn't find much that fit me well. It feels somewhat like a yard sale, there are some extremely good deals, and a bunch of filler. You probably couldn't exclusively buy clothing here, but you won't leave unhappy. Employees are cheerful and helpful too.

I gave them brand new pair of shoes and a few shirts all where name brand and only got 12$ and walked in store next day and they shoes where 50. Im never giving them anything again. I'd rather give it away to good will

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The selection of clothing for the younger crowd is good...better for gals than guys, but you can still find a few things for those guys in your house. We have been here twice and have left with a purchase both times.
