I have shopped here for six years. Customer service has gone down. It feels like the staff is unwelcoming and is whispering a lot. Just this evening, 6pm on a Saturday, I walked in and walked by three employees, including the manager - no one said a word. Not even a greeting. One employee even shuffled clothes right next to me and not a peep. I walked by them all talking at the counter and they still didn't say anything, not even a farewell. It really has deterred me from shopping there. I probably won't go back.

Have been going to this store for many, many years. However, over the course of the last couple of months, I have visited twice and both times the customer service was AWFUL! I do understand that everyone has a bad day.. Second to the last time I was there, one clerk was texting on their cell, one was putting up stock and one was just standing behind the register. There were two other customers besides myself in the store, and not once did someone ask if I needed anything. I proceeded to try on a few items, and would have actually purchased about $300 worth of clothing if I would have received ANY HELP at all. Last time I was in there, there were three other customers in the store. The store manager and a clerk were standing behind the counter talking, and one other clerk was actually working to check someone else out. Again, not ONCE was I asked if they could help. When I asked to speak to a manager to let them know that I'll be taking my money elsewhere, and then the manager identified herself to me, she got belligerent and rude, claiming she had personally asked me if I needed anything when I walked into the store. I asked if I had answered, and she did admit I did not. I informed her that perhaps that should have been a clue that I didn't hear her or was assuming she was speaking to someone else (she really was NO WHERE near the front of the store when I was there, so I don't think she was being entirely truthful, I think she was trying to justify the fact that no one helped me.) When I told her that I never planned on coming to that store again, then she got really mad. Truly unprofessional and if that's Lane Bryant's idea of a manager, they need to re-think their ideals. I am taking my clothing dollars to our local Cato - they are FAR more helpful, prices are more reasonable and they are actually closer to where we live. Too bad, Lane Bryant.....you lose!
