Update: The restaurant has significantly improved recently. The staff has been nice and ask if I need any additional stuff with my meal. So far they are doing a lot better, so I am changing my rating to 3 stars instead of 1, if it stays improved I will consider higher ratings. Past Review 6 months ago:This location constantly has issues. They literally gave me a Mac and cheese with a drink lid that didn't fit, it was to small and was stuff into it, it fell out and the Mac and cheese went all over the car. They often don't have any thing but chicken and alot of the time they over cook it to the point it's almost burnt. I would suggest any of the other locations in shreveport over this one at this point.
The Popeye location on Mansfield rd was absolutely on point this evening, Customer service this evening was the best I've experienced in months. The drive-thru experience was great . The young lady name Kemille was very polite, and respectful and had given great service today. I'm amazed at how patient she was with me as I was giving my order, she doubled checked my order to make to all the correct pieces of chicken were present as well as made sure I had all the condiments needed with my meal. I'm very pleased with her outstanding customer service
They need a new crew or close down. They NEVER HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED. The lady in the drive thru clearly didn't want to be there. We waited almost 30 minutes from the time we drove in until we got the food. We were refunded for the extra fries that we didn't order. After ordering BBQ sauce and getting it, the lady informed us they that didn't have BBQ sauce, ketchup nor honey. I went inside and got a refund for the entire order. The guys inside that were cooking had the food fully stocked, it was the Manger and the drive cashier that seemed it have issues being at work.
I stopped in on a busy night and they looked short staffed. The manager took my order and had it out to me promptly. I was very impressed with the manager and staff for taking care of the customer in a timely manner while being short staffed. Highly recommend this location.
Called in an order and was told they do not take call in orders. Have to order off the app grub hub or some of the other apps. Told the lady I was ordering 32 pieces and was not gonna have time to wait she would not take order and hung up. Had someone go to Mansfield road store and order 32 piece at drive thru and was told they couldn't cook that much chicken at 1 time and he ask them what would they do if 4 cars came in and all of them ordered 8 piece dinners what would they do. She went and talked to manager and they finally cooked our chicken. If this is what it is coming to to order fast food I'm out. Keep your chicken and we will just cook on location
Food was on point. Bathroom lights where out. Lobby was clean but couldn't find spoons or forks. Staff was friendly and nice but slower than they should be. I waited like 15 minutes and was the third customer there. I had gotten my food, 5pc with mashed potatoes, gotten a drink eaten my full meal and was getting ready to leave when the guy that was right behind me in line had gotten his food. Management, fix this, it the main thing hurting you.
I ordered my food online..they didn't have the blackened chicken strips I ordered..ok that's fine I went ahead with classic, then I was told they don't have the apple pies I ordered...ok fine I took the blueberry lemon pies! Then I'm told they don't have any sauce except for 2 kinds of mustard & some tarter! She had told me they didn't have honey either which I was disappointed with but I'm use to that. I get back to work & there isn't any biscuits anyway! My chicken strips had the texture of raw chicken you couldn't even tear them apart & the other order of chicken strips was missing a piece! I hadn't been here in a year so I was looking forward to it, but today will be my last! There's plenty of other chicken places on Mansfield Rd!
The chicken has been fresh & juicy lately, especially on Pines road. I started going to Popeyes on Mansfield road for fresh&juicy chicken, but for the last two times, Popeyes on Pines road has been on point.Food: 5/5
One of the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Popeyes, the drive through was busted up so they won’t even take your order in the drive-thru. The inside is very dirty and had napkins everywhere and the entire soda machine was done and had rags and napkins to keep it from leaking. Every worker wasn’t even wearing gloves nor a hairnet, plus there was all kind of dirt and grime on the floor. Than to top it all of there was a hose on the floor that one of the cooks grabbed of the floor and continued to cook. He also was eating and drink over the food he was frying. We also got a sweet tea since it was the only drink beside water that they had but we got about an inch to an inch and a half of tea grinds in the cup. Do not go here and save your money!
This is one of the worst popeyes in Shreveport. The customer service is very unprofessional. I Had a experience with this store that i will never forget and whats interesting about the situation is one of the employees was so unprofessional and the night manager did nothing to address the unprofessionalism or the situation. I will not go there ever again.
