I stayed here with my family in a 32 foot class A RV. There was no internet or phone service which my kids hated, but I loved the opportunity to connect as a family. There is a long hike just outside the campground to marble falls which was beautiful. There is also a mountain stream with some really interesting rocks the kids played in to cool off.

Such an amazing hike. The views are spectacular and what's around the corner is even better. Mother Nature sure is beautiful. The waterfalls are gushing... can't wait to come back when the flowers start blooming everything sure is green and lots of water.

The amenities at this campground were great, several permanent bathrooms with running water and a flowing stream nearby. Lots of squirrels and deer were present and not fearful of humans. There were several loud and rowdy groups here that wanted to bring their party outdoors instead of enjoy nature's serenity. A camp ground at higher altitude would probably have fewer revelers.

The campground is at a lower height than most of the park, and that makes a difference in the tenperature. While it was freezing and snowing in the other campgrounds, it was just chilly here. No showers, but clean bathrooms with flushing toilets.
