Beautiful campground with fantastic sunset views. We stayed at #55, which was a great site with plenty of space for a tent (two will fit as well), a car, a fire pit and a picknick table. I would recommend staying at 56, 55, 50, 49, 41, 40, 38 or 37. The campground has flush toilets that were pretty clean, plus a place to wash dishes and such. The rangers were very friendly. Also, you're not even a quarter of a mile away from Grant Grove village, so if you need a hot shower, groceries, a meal, a post office or a visitor center, it will only take you a few minutes to get there. It can get pretty cold at night, so bring a sleeping bag and maybe an extra blanket.

No water. Broken line but no one appears to be working on it. So that means no restrooms, no showers. People washing up near a drinking water spout. Very noisy, loud radio for the last hr. No ranger. Sequoias are beautiful however communication about water problem is poor. Won't return. Not that great sites either.

Beautiful views from our campsite and from most others. Facilities are convenient and clean. Rangers were always very friendly.

Great campsite! Best if you have campsites at east side. the sun sets at these locations. Beautiful sunsets. Hard to fit 2 cars on these campsites. Must park on asphalt only. Some campsites not available due to needing to cut down trees marked blue. Has water, clean restrooms (at the time we went), very hilly throughout the area, staff very friendly, volunteers does a good job checking illegal parked cars, can have firepit all day, generators can't be used before 9am-...they had alot of cut logs around us for FREE so there's no need to buy logs. Will come again. This beats Yosemite for reservations for sure! Busy in weekends, few campers weekdays in which we picked. Left on a Sunday. Showers avail at Grant Grove $1 for 6 min. Had to wait in line betw 1-5pm. But avail also 9-12. 1 out of 3 shwrs broken, some went to the guys shower room. Very nice they have pails, rakes, shovels avail for all to use. They have a small market to get stuff. Our 2 families enjoyed. Haven't been here since 70's.

Located midway between the Giant Forests of Sequoia and the meadows of King Canyon, this campground is a perfect meeting ground if you want to check out both National Parks! If you forget to bring anything, don't worry the convenient store is very close. Be sure to check your campground for anthills! There is running water and flush toilets. We were able to snag a spot without a reservation!
