Had researched a car on their lot and was helped by Eric Bates.  I had not decided to trade in my vehicle as it was very old (2009) with high mileage (>120K mi).  However, the dealer gave me a good allowance and a significant reduction to the listed price of the "new" (2015) vehicle.  Eric personally worked each part of the transaction while making me feel very much at home (although I was not local and had never visited the dealership).  He also introduced me to the Service and Parts folks, and i was very impressed with everyone I met.  My new car has been serviced at Prestige and, although it's over an hour away, I believe I will take the car there for service to maintain that relationship.

This dealer is very close to my home, so really wanted to purchase a 2018 Forester from them.  Ultimately saved over $1200 by driving an hour and getting it from someone else.  Prestige may be a solid dealer, but I can't justify paying this much more for the same vehicle.

12/26/2017 Update After Dealer's Response (Below):  Actually, the Out The Door price (inclusive of tax and all dealer fees) was $1200 better at the alternate dealer.   The car that I purchased was not on the lot at any of the dealers that I worked with, so pretty much apples-to-apples there as well.  Again, the folks at Prestige were very professional, nice, knew the product.  But pricing was not even close to what I could find from others, specifically:   (Prestige Discount Off MSRP:  5.9%, Other Dealer Discount:  10.4%.  Prestige Tax / Fees:  $1,301, Other Dealer $1,614).  It would have been great to "buy local", but not for the price spread on this car.

I'll certainly be giving business to the Service Department at Prestige.  If it's great, I'll certainly post it here.  If it has room for improvement, will post that for folks as well.

My wife and I just bought a new Outback from Prestige and had a wonderful experience with Eric Bates (Sales Specialist) and Robby Clark (Sales Manager). I was able to visit several other Subaru dealerships in western NC and the competition was not even close (in price or professionalism). In fact, I had an incredibly negative experience at the Boone store (Rude!!). But Eric and Robby were complete professionals, listened to what we wanted, and quickly got us out the door. And, they beat the other price quotes I had by hundreds of dollars. I highly recommend Prestige -- this was the best car buying experience we have ever had.

My husband and I just had the best experience at Prestige Subaru buying a new car! Jason Wicks, our sales specialist, made the entire process very smooth and easy. He was honest, upfront and patient with us concerning every question we asked. He also made  the experience so much fun, it was like hanging out with a good friend that was guiding us through the process. The biggest thing for us is that we never felt pushed or rushed to make a decision, which made the car buying process so much easier.

My wife and I recently made a trip to Prestige to hunt for a new Forester.  We worked with a gentleman named Eric, he was wonderful.  Very knowledgeable and laid back.  Not pushy, just always there at the right time with the right answers.  During our process of shopping we had to make a sudden budget adjustment due to outside circumstances.  Eric did a great job working with us showing us all of our options.  We were able to drive away in a wonderful car thanks to his help!  I love my new Forester!  I love the attention and service that we received and I am eager to send my friends there for their next purchase!  Thanks again and I know we will be back!!
