I loved this campground and its now in my top 3 favorite campgrounds. The spaces are close together, but the park overall is heavily wooded so you really feel like you are camping in the woods. The last row of spots on one end is very nice if you don't have to have septic. They are water and electric only but they are very large and backs up into the forest. I may book back there next time and use my portable dump tank and use the dump station there. All the spots are pull through, so that is easy for setting up, but then you have a road both in front and in back of you but since all the roads are paved, you don't have the gravel noise at least. Only the traffic for the people in your row are passing by though there are very few cars going by. The spots are paved too. There is a pool, but nothing much else for the kids which suits me just fine. I don't like having to pay for all the extra kid amenities I never ever use anyway. It was very quiet except for the very unexpected fireworks at 9:30pm celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the National Park Service. The only thing I really wish was different is there is no trail head to the hiking trails from the campground. There is a section of the park right next door but its private and only open to campers who have rented one of the large group cabins. We walked down the road and a ranger came along and politely said we were not supposed to be in there. We had to drive one exit south to Exit 150 and enter the park at the main entrance to access the hiking trails. We got lucky though because it was National Park day and admission was free. I also liked that its open year-round. They have insulation around the water service pipe, so I may go back when its cold this year.

This rv park, is probably one of the best we've been too! My husband and I travel for work, and live in our rv with our 2 boxers. We stopped here for our vacation into D.C. It's about 45 minutes to an hour from the city, which is perfect for us! This place has a pretty decent dog park! It was unexpected, and very appreciated! It is far enough back, that you cannot hear the traffic! It is VERY clean! Definitely will return here.

This turned out to be "okay" but the spaces are very small, like front of the camper being in the road there and the back of the camper being in the road behind. We put a cone out so people driving by would not hit us. They only really have a few big rig sites. Great location and quiet for the most part. Easy to get to.
