At the end of a two month roadtrip, having seen many campsites, I can say that this is a great campground! Loop D is wide open, and a couple of the spots allow direct views of Dillon reservoir. There is a small trail down to the water's edge through this loop as well, and a very quick walk through there provides you with beautiful views. There are few trees in this loop due to beetle kill, but the spots are spread out enough that it's not really an issue in terms of privacy. As far as bathrooms go, they are standard vaults, kept pretty clean on the surface level. Highly recommend this campground!

Had campsite 66 in loop D which is on the west side of the campground. It was a very large campsite with amazing views of Lake Dillon with the mountains behind. Decently secluded with my own private path down to the lake. There is potable water at the campground entrance and a RV dumpsite down the road a few miles at the Upper Blue Sanitation District. Multiple vault toilets are nearby. Very friendly staff and clean campground. Definitely will be back.

Good location! Some sites are good for big rigs. Has RV water and the dump station is close by when you leave. It does get really dusty because all roads are gravel and since it's so big ( over 100 sites) it can get a bit too busy on weekends. They only have one host so you get a lot of dogs off leash, noisy neighbors, etc. Very close to a lot of great fun though, biking, hiking, off-road riding, disc golf, etc. Update: Found the second host here, still not very visible though and still dogs off leash and sometimes loud music.

We had a family reunion here and it was amazing. The scenery was beautiful and the person managing the area was fantastic! Not only was he friendly and attentive, he kept the bathrooms amazingly clean. We had plenty of space for tents, our rv, games, campfires, cooking, and more. We are already planning next year's adventure in the same place.
