This place was lovely! My mother and I had a great time. The service was perfect (very Australian - polite and to the point!) and the coffee was INCREDIBLE. I ordered the potato hash which was delicious. It was very heavy and rich so don’t order if you’re not into that! I was however and I enjoyed every bite! My mother ordered just toast and eggs which tasted just fine (but a little over priced for what it was - she could’ve made it at home.) The Suzi Q juice was also fabulous - light and refreshing and just this side of perfectly sweet! We will definitely be coming back to try other delicious things!

There are a lot of really great places to get coffee here in Portland, but this place is by far the best. I learned about so many new coffee drinks, and have officially tried and loved them all. Their food is also incredible, and consistently good every time I visit. It fills up quickly so I recommend arriving early. Occasionally you can luck out and snag a seat quickly if you have a smaller party, but larger groups should plan on arriving earlier in the morning to avoid a long wait. If you do have to wait, Alberta street has a lot to offer!

One of the best cafés not just in Portland, but in the country. Everything they do at Proud Mary is on another level. From beautifully plated food made from the best ingredients (and local ingredients too - supporting local farmers and makers) to tasty and rare coffees, this place is definitely worth a visit. I go once a week, at least. A bit more spendy, but for good reason. Think, quality over quantity. You’re paying for local produce, high quality ingredients, and hard work in the kitchen. Coffee is more expensive there because the coffee farmers are getting paid a fair wage. I’m happy to spend a little more knowing that ❣️ Everyone there is super nice as well, and willing to accommodate you in any way they can. Plus every time I’ve been in, the music they play has been amazing. Not generic cafe music but really good tunes. Basically... just go there and see for yourself.

What a great new find! Haven't been here before and lol ed everything about my experience. First off, it's very modern, but really rustic too. Great job! The cappuccino had the most beautiful milk foam decoration ☕ and tasted amazing. I had a carrot cup cake which had edible flowers on top. The cake itself was very moist and the frosting was not too sweet, but very tasty.

Great new place. Australian cafe that has a surprisingly number of people working with an Australian accent. Fantastic coffee and food but you're going to be paying more than some of the other restaurants on Alberta. Overall a great experience, didn't have to wait long either!
