Story

The Cadillac Café has been an innovative institution for breakfast and lunch on Portland’s NE Broadway dining scene for over twenty-five years. Jump-started in 1989 on the guiding principles of quality, consistency and exceptional service, the Cadillac Café embraced the surrounding community and has flourished ever since. Relocated in 2002 to it’s current home the café takes design cues from the art deco period. The crown jewel of the space is a drivable 1961 pink Cadillac convertible in the dining room. A favorite spot for politicians, local Portlanders and the LGBT crowd, come early to avoid the line.

Decent food. The atmosphere is a bit artificial and corporate despite being locally owned. Hipsters don't really go here. The food is standard, but nothing special. If you like basic care this place is acceptable. If you want better you'll need to go somewhere else. The competition will eat them up...unfortunately...

This place is wonderful. Went in for brunch on a Saturday a little after 1 pm with a friend and we were seated right away. Very clean, classy without being stuffy and fun without being gaudy. They have a couple of fun mimosa flavors and interesting cocktail specials. The food was great. Service was quick and the price was more than fair for the quality of the food.

I love this place, for breakfast or brunch... Great food, amazing customer service. I went there today for my Birthday brunch... They gave me BD desert 😋... Love the atmosphere... I only wish they played classical music... (Thank you guys, We came last minute before closing and they served us, and manager allowed to open the glass door so I could take pictures and they got the fire place going, just because I asked them that I want to take beautiful pics) so kind and sweet of them! 
Level 1-10 ? I give them 10+ 😘

French toast with toasted hazelnuts! (I don't think anymore needs to be said)

Seriously though, I loved the atmosphere. Sat at the bar and had great conversation with the bartender. I ordered poached eggs over medium hard, served perfectly and no water in the dish. Amazing attention to detail!

Excellent food, Excellent service, Excellent breakfast cocktails. We had a late breakfast. Ordered the two specials and a round of the special blood orange mimosas. All tasty. We felt lucky to get in before the brunch rush and avoided waiting in line.
